Elementa

Elementa is an ongoing photographic cycle that examines the elements from an alchemical perspective.

The point of departure is not the element as substance, but as process: as state, transition, and transformation. The works do not follow a narrative sequence, but an alchemical mode of thought in which condensation, clarification, and transformation play central roles.

Each element is developed through several image phases. These phases are informed by classical alchemical stages, without illustrating or explaining them. They serve as a formal framework within which body, material, and light enter into relation.

Elementa is conceived as an open cycle.
